Description

KISS was designed by Binaa Studio for the 5 Architects 5 Breeze series. Within the block, two surfaces curve and twist toward each other. A softly contoured, leaf-shaped opening remains between these surfaces.

The true effect emerges when the blocks are placed side by side. When four KISS blocks come together, their curves touch one another, and a floral motif appears in the center. As the wall grows, this motif repeats across the surface. The curved inner surfaces transform light not into a single shadow, but into soft transitions that change throughout the day.

Measuring 20×20×10 cm, KISS blocks can be used for garden walls, facades, terrace dividers, and as permeable partitions indoors. Combining blocks of different colors makes the pattern stand out more clearly. Each piece is hand-cast in our workshop in Istanbul.
